On Friday, July 13, 2018, representatives of Missouri DeMolay gathered at our State’s Capitol with Governor Mike Parson who signed the “DeMolay Bill” effectively into law for the State of Missouri. Governor Parson was also made a Personal Representative of Missouri DeMolay, as well as an Honorary DeMolay of the original Mother Chapter. Missouri DeMolay would like to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to the Governor for his support for the youth of Missouri DeMolay, as well as the Missouri House and Senate for unanimously passing the bill through the legislative process. A special thank you also to those in Missouri DeMolay who worked tirelessly over the past year for making this dream become reality.
Representatives of Missouri DeMolay were also able to meet for a brief time with Missouri Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe, who was integral in allowing the DeMolay Bill to pass through legislation with such flying colors. Missouri DeMolay State Master Councilor Nicholas Cova presented the Lieutenant Governor with a special DeMolay International Pin and expressed thanks and appreciation on behalf of our entire jurisdiction for his enthusiastic support of Missouri DeMolay.
