"We hail thee, Dad Harder.  May the light of they funeral fires shine upon our lives, and purify them by their radiance.  As thou didst salute us and these times of ours, so we salute thee through the years that have gone.  For four decades, young men have revered thy matchless heroism, thine unfaltering fidelity, and for countless years thy virtue shall inspire them.  we, who have learned under they tutelage, pray that we may be able to carry on thy teachings; and may translate into lives of reverence, of patriotism and toleration, lives of comradeship, or loving sonship, of manliness, and of service to our community, state, and nation.  May we draw from they example the lessons of kindness, steadfastness, and above all selfless generosity. Great mentor and friend to many, farewell. May we live as nobly as thou hast taught us. Amen."

These words were inspired by the work of Frank Marshall in honor of Jacques DeMolay.  They were adapted by senior members of Kirkwood DeMolay, and other Chapters, to honor the memory of Dad Bob Harder.  Generation of those members knelt in prayer while Senior DeMolay Miguel White delivered this tribute on June 7, 2006.
