The Bronze Ritual is a brand new way to experience ritual in the juristiction of Missouri. In competing for the Bronze Ritual, a chapter must take the Bronze Ritual from the chapter that currently has it through ritual competition. Please see the rules and regulations found on this page for complete details. The Bronze Ritual is a great way to encourage chapter visitations, make our already strong brotherhood and camraderie stronger, and improve the quality of our ritual. If you are interested in having a Bronze Ritual to compete for in your area, or if you have any questions at all about the Bronze Ritual, contact your Area Master Councilor. So, get out there, work your hardest, and let's have fun competing for the presitigous Bronze Ritual!

April 3, 2012
St. Charles DeMolay visited Crestwood last night (April 3rd) for their stated meeting for the purpose of competing for the Bronze Ritual. After a heated discussion of the St. Charles members of who would have the privilege of competing, they had come to an impasse. So the only thing that seemed fair was to have a random drawing. Having won the drawing, Brother Adam Potts challenged any Crestwood member in the part of Junior Inquisitor, DeMolay Degree. Crestwood DeMolay had no takers, so Brother Potts prepared to perform his part as is required to result in at least 500 points. Brother Potts was successful and St. Charles DeMolay is the new holder of the Bronze Ritual.

On Wednesday, March 7, members of Crestwood Chapter visited the regular meeting of their friends and brothers of Carondelet Chapter to take up the challenge for the Bronze Ritual Trophy. Brother Christian Westermayer, 2-time PMC of Crestwood, selected and gave a stirring performance of the Lord Constable's role in the DeMolay Degree. Unfortunately, none of the members present from Carondelet were prepared to take on that part. The Bronze Ritual Trophy will reside at Crestwood until April 3 when it will next be available for challenge.

On Tuesday, February 7, 2012, four members of Carondelet Chapter and two Advisors visited the regular meeting of Progression Chapter to compete for the Bronze Ritual. Brother Davey Ardrey, Master Councilor of Carondelet Chapter, challanged based on the part of the First Perceptor. Brother Ardrey made a word perfect presentation and was scored as Excellent in five of the six performance categories. Unfortunatly, Progression Chapter had no members present who were prepared to defend this challange. Therefore, the members of Carondelet Chapter took the Bronze Ritual back to Webster Groves with them. The Bronze Ritual will again be open for challange at Carondelet Chapter's meeting on March 7th.
