Gabe Eggers
State Illustrious Knight Commander
Gabe Eggers of Excelsior Chapter was installed as State Illustrious Knight Commander at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Kansas City, Missouri on November 3, 2007.
Gabriel Logan Eggers was born on August 4, to Richard and Marica Eggers, and he has no siblings. His parents were not involved in DeMolay, Job’s Daughters, or anything Masonic, but they both have been supportive of his DeMolay endeavors in the past years. Gabe discovered DeMolay through his friends, who were eagerly anticipating the formation of a new club described to them by Dad Rodney Pensel.
Gabe is currently attending Jackson Senior High. In addition to a rigorous academic schedule, he serves as Junior Class President, as well as being a member of Academic Team, Speech & Debate, National Honor Society, and Future Business Leaders of America. Outside of school, he is very active in his church.

DeMolay Career
Brother Eggers was initiated into Excelsior Chapter on February 16, 2005—the day of its reinstitution. His first office was 7th Preceptor but he was soon elected to the offices of Junior and Senior Councilor. Gabe was proudly installed as Master Councilor of his Chapter on August 25, 2006. For the last two rounds of Chapter offices, Brother Eggers has declined an office to allow newer members to have the experience. Happy about his chance to guide his Chapter during its formative years, Gabe looks forward to seeing how well Excelsior can live up to its name.
On the state level, Gabe initially was put in as State Area 5 Master Councilor at Conclave 2005. He later won the offices of State Area 5 Master Councilor and State Chaplain on his own.
DeMolay Awards
In addition to receiving the Lamp of Knowledge, Founder’s Membership Award, and numerous Merit Bars, Gabe is most proud that he has earned his PMC-MSA and the Representative DeMolay.
