Waynesville History

Waynesville first opened in in 1963 and was originally called Ft.Leonard Wood/Waynesville Chapter being that it was home to many

sons of servicemen. The Chapter operated until 1985 when it closed it's doors. During it's tenure, a young man by the name of Billy Lee Ransdall served as Master Councilor and would later go on to become a State Representative and sit on many State and National committees. In 2006, Waynesville Chapter burst onto the Missouri DeMolay scene, making a most impressive return.
