Truell Harrison Chapter (formerly Harry S. Truman Chapter) - Until 2006, DeMolay had not been a part of the West Plains community since the 1950's when West Plains Chapter closed. Harry S. Truman Chapter opened in 2006 in full force and has added a new sense of Brotherhood to Missouri DeMolay. In April 2007, the chapter decided to change it's name in honor of Truell Harrison who was a 33rd degree mason from West Plains. Truell was active in Mt Zion Lodge #327; he served a secretary for many years and was a Past Master. Truell was a member of the Valley of Joplin AARS and the Shrine. Truell was the Howell County Treasurer for 12 years before he passed away in February of 2007. |
