 History  ~ Attended Blue Springs High School and graduated in 2006, currently attends University of Central Missouri with a major in Vocal Music Education and Minor in Business Administration. Works for Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation. Involved in Praise Team at Church, Missouri Paint Horse Association, multiple choirs at school. Elected Mother Chapter's Sweetheart in February 2008.

Awards ~ All-District Band, All-District Choir, two piano gold cups, six superior and two excellent ratings at music festival for piano, 2 rating at District competition for piano solo, scholastic honor roll, Girl Scout Bronze award.

History ~  Rachel is currently a sophomore.  She plays flute in the marching band and is a member of the top choir.  Rachel also played soccer for her high school on the J.V. team last year as a freshman.  She is active in her church youth group and play in her church hand bell choir.  Rachel has gone on two mission trips with her church.  One in 2006 and 2008 to Mosspoint, MS, and Cherokee Nation, OK.  She is a Past Honored Queen of Job's Daughter Bethel #60.  Rachel has played piano for 2/3 of her life, starting when she was 5 years old and continues to enjoy it and has become a major part of her life.

Text Box: A special thank you to all of the judges that assisted in the 2008-2009 Sweetheart Pagaent! The 2008 Missouri DeMolay Sweetheart Pageant was a compilation of a score from 4 categories.  Caucus was the largest portion (40%) because the boy’s votes should count the most.  The interview was judged by Mom Pam Pensel, Samantha Stutzman PGWA, and Ryan Cockerham DSMC was worth 25%.  Evening gown was judged by Mr. Howie Damron, Mrs. Kim Damron, and Ryan Cockerham DSMC and was worth 25%.  The final 10% was by secret judges Pam Baker PGWA, Dad Jack Rushin and Dad Fred Veinfurt.
